The mission of amateur radio operators is to provide back up communications support to city government agencies in the event of an emergency, when all normal means of communication fails.  Hence the slogan "when else all fails."

Comprised of FCC licensed radio amateurs operating under the authority of the City of Haverhill and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. All members are residents of the City of Haverhill, and spend their time as volunteers assisting in keeping the city safe by means of communicating valuable information to various agencies during times of need.
